Digital Media Lab
Digital Media Lab (DML) is a research group that works with media signal processing.
The Digital Media Lab (DML) belongs to the Department of Applied Physics and Electronics (TFE) at Umeå University in Sweden. The main focus of the DML is on research topics related to digital media signal processing. Throughout the past years, the Lab has developed a very good reputation through successful high quality research in both media computing and media communication.
The research interests of the DML members include very low bitrate video coding, face recognition, information retrieval, vibrotactile rendering of human emotions, 3D rendering, and human motion analysis.
